TraumaLink: Emergency Response System for Road Accidents

TraumaLink trains local volunteer first responders and utilizes a 24-hour emergency hotline to dispatch them to the scene of road accidents. With $142,500 in DIV funding, TraumaLink is recruiting an additional 400 volunteers to participate in first-aid training to become certified first responders; extending its services to another 80 kilometers of highway. In the long term, TraumaLink aims to scale up through a hybrid model of commercial sponsorships, for-profit trauma training, and donations.
